The ETN (European Tyre Number) is a unified battery numbering system used across Europe by battery manufacturers who adhere to the European battery standards set out by the trade association for European Battery Manufacturers. Unlike the UK reference (for example "063") which demonstrates only the physical dimensions of the battery case and the application, the ETN reference is designed to give transparency to a product's performance, in that it shows both capacity (Ah) and performance (cold cranking). It is quite simply your guarantee of capacity and performance and allows the trade and the consumer to see exactly what they are paying for. Our implementation of the ETN numbering system demonstrates our confidence in the quality of the product, which is subject to most stringent testing and quality assurance before leaving the factory. |
